[3.3.x] Support Forum • "Mark All" missing in MCP and ACP, and spam

Hello, new here, thanks in advance!

I have a 3.3.1 installation of a board with a huge yahoo archive ported over that I set up a few years back. I'm kind of new at admin/moderating phpbb, but I am pretty computer savvy in general. However, I have not managed to plug the spam-bot flood on this board, and gave up a while back. Needless to say, it's flooded with junk.

I did manage to turn on moderation, so at least this trash isn't showing. However, I apparently missed a parameter to authenticate subscribers, so there are pages of spam subscribers.

I can delete all that garbage but here is the problem: There doesn't seem to be a "Mark All" to select all the check boxes in MCP and ACP so I can bulk delete, say 100-200, on a given page. Doing it one at a time would take forever.

Am I missing something? I did read somewhere that this feature should exist, but after searching here and on the board, I can't find it. Is it perhaps a plug-in? Or is my installation faulty?

Also, what are the latest recommended configurations to block spam? i think I have some sort of spam add-on installed, but that seems to have been circumvented.

Thanks!
