Your "idea" is formulated as an extension request, not as a default feature request.I think it would be a great idea an extension like Woocommerce be developed for phpbb so that simple boards be transformed into online shops.
Secondly, i thin it would be more logical for an online shop application to have a forum, rather that a forum having an online shop application.
