Anonymous guests having the ability to post to your forum is an attractive SPAM lure that can only add to the problem.These are bots; this has nothing to do with guest posting. It's a widespread issue, impacting everyone – a general and comprehensive attack.This would be a good time to turn off posting for Guests too.
I'm unsure why you're telling me this, especially since you're aware that everyone has experienced the same thing!
But sure, leave that guest permission in place and make me out to be the bad guy for pointing it out.
