I'm back to being a novice again....about 10 years ago I was able to change the look of the home page one of the phpBB forum styles using an editor, including importing images. But now I can't remember the basics anymore. I've tried to avoid posting this by reading the phpBB help pages, but still can't remember...
I'm hoping someone can give me suggestions about which files to download wherein I can do some simple edits to the script then re-upload them. I'm using notebook++ as the editor (is that right?) and Filezilla as my FTP client. So I presume the file for the forum's home page is somewhere in.... html_public => forum? Here's a screen capture:
